Richard K. Pugsley
Under the baton of Richard K. Pugsley, Vox Cæli Sinfonia has been led on an avid exploration of orchestral repertoire. As a graduate from Oberlin College Conservatory, his unique interpretive skills as a conductor have led Vox Cæli Sinfonia to perform such works as Strauss' Death and Transfiguration, programs of English composers Britten, Elgar, and Finzi, concertos by C.P.E. Bach and Mozart, many collaborative ventures in oratorio such as Handel's Saul and Messiah, Mendelssohn's Elijah, and other works with the choir Gloriæ Dei Cantores.

In addition to directing the orchestra, Mr. Pugsley is also the Assistant Director of Gloriæ Dei Cantores, a choir of international renown which has performed in 49 US cities, and 23 countries in Europe and Russia. His studies have included work with Hugh Floyd and John Knight as well as David Arnold, Lorraine Manz, Craig Timberlake, and Richard Miller. He also shares his expertise conducting the choir in worship and concert. He presently maintains an active vocal studio of more than 30 students.
